Dietary Services

GBGH dietary services has a call centre staff member that is available to take the meal orders. For those patients who are unable to call the kitchen, a call centre staff member will visit them in their room to go over the menu and take their order. The menus are all computerized, and the kitchen staff input the order as the patient orders. We offer a one week menu rotation.

We also offer cafeteria service at the Midland site for morning break and lunch meal service. The cafeteria is closed for the supper meal and on weekends. The cafeteria is available for use even though no service is offered.

GBGH has a Registered Dietitian on staff to assess patient’s needs that may require clinical nutrition assessment or intervention.
